ELECTORAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION (NOMINATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEES) (LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL) REGULATION

Pursuant to sections 2(2), (3) and (5), 3(4) and 6(3) of the Electoral Affairs Commission (Nominations Advisory Committees (Legislative Council)) Regulation, notices are hereby given that Mr. Lawrence LOK, S.C. is appointed as a Nominations Advisory Committee (Legislative Council) ('NAC(LC)') for the period from 2 August 2001 to 17 August 2001, both dates inclusive, to perform functions on applications to seek advice by the Returning Officer in relation to the Legislative Council By-election (Election Committee) to be held on 16 September 2001, with the nomination period from 2 August 2001 to 15 August 2001. Applications for advice from the NAC must be lodged with the Chief Electoral Officer, either in person or by post or by facsimile, to be received by him between 2 August 2001 and 16 August 2001, both dates inclusive.
