Electoral Affairs Commission [Nominations Advisory Committees (Legislative Council)] Regulation (5.10.2000)

Pursuant to sections 2(2), (3) and (5), 3(4) and 6(3) of the Electoral Affairs Commission (Nominations Advisory Committees (Legislative Council)) Regulation, notices are hereby given that Mr. Lawrence LOK, S.C. is appointed as a Nominations Advisory Committee (Legislative Council) ('NAC(LC)') for the period from 20 October 2000 to 4 November 2000, both dates inclusive, to perform functions on applications to seek advice by the Returning Officer in relation to the Legislative Council by-election to be held on 10 December 2000 in respect of the Hong Kong Island geographical constituency, with the nomination period from 20 October 2000 to 2 November 2000. Applications for advice from the NAC must be lodged with the Chief Electoral Officer, either in person or by post or by facsimile, to be received by him between 20 October 2000 and 3 November 2000, both dates inclusive.
