Particulars Relating to Candidates on Ballot Papers

Under the Particulars Relating to Candidates on Ballot Papers (Legislative Council) Regulation, candidate(s) may request to print a personal photograph of the candidate(s); the registered Chinese name or the registered abbreviation of the Chinese name (but not both) of prescribed body(bodies); the registered English name or the registered abbreviation of the English name (but not both) of prescribed body(bodies); the registered emblem of prescribed body(bodies); the registered emblem of prescribed person(s) and the words "Independent Candidate 獨 立 候 選 人" or the words "Non-affiliated Candidate 無 黨 派 候 選 人" (but not both). The completed request form should be returned to the Returning Officer (Address: 10th Floor, Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong) at the time of your submission of your nomination or before the close of the nomination period (4 August 2004). If the particulars requested by the requestor to be printed on a ballot paper include the particulars of one or more prescribed bodies, the consent of the relevant prescribed bodies for the particulars to be printed on a ballot paper in relation to the request by the candidate(s) should also be submitted to the Returning Officer before the close of the specified period. The request form may be obtained from the District Offices or the Registration and Electoral Office.
