of the Electoral Affairs Commission on the
Recommended Constituency Boundaries in respect of the
1999 District Councils Election
For the 1999 District Councils election, the Electoral Affairs Commission had made recommendations on how the 390 constituencies were to be demarcated to the Chief Executive, according to s 18 of the Electoral Affairs Commission Ordinance.
The recommendations, set out in a three-volume report were submitted to the Chief Executive on 15 May 1999. Volume 1 is the report proper, detailing the reasons for the recommendations. Volume 2 contains 23 maps on the boundaries and the description of these boundaries. Volume 3 includes the written representations and minutes of the meetings held with four of the then Provisional District Boards.
